Columbia College Facts: Week 9

We only have two more weeks of Columbia College facts. Here are five more:


1. Christian was the first in the United States to organize a chapter of the Red Cross on its own campus.

2.“With a Song in My Heart” is a film produced in 1952 about the life of alumnae Jane Froman.

3. In 1950, enrollment stood at a high of 425 students.

4. More than 350 alumnae attended the first annual “Homecoming” in May 1958.

5. In 1966, more than half the student body was enrolled in the art program.
